This edition of The Monthly Muse is all about the man who held up a canvas against his emotions and just let them reflect on it unflinchingly!

Apart from cutting one of his ears and gifting it to a prostitute, Van Gogh wrote over 800 letters in his lifetime. He wrote about colour, about loneliness, about what he was trying to make and why it mattered!
